主要研究領域

  1. 組織以及細胞受力之之反應:
    牙齒因受力而在齒槽骨內移動,能使牙周組織維持基本的活性,同時能產生最大細胞反應(骨吸收及骨沉積)的力量,其大小和頻率的特性,在牙齒矯正學之中仍是一個未知的課題。目前我們有興趣的是,骨細胞受到多大的力量會發生有效率的骨吸收,以及引發骨吸收的機制為何。想尋找調節這些變化的適當施力的大小和頻率,以及尋找同樣受壓力調控的基因群組。瞭解骨質代謝機制之一,甚至於加以調控受力後骨質吸收的機轉,臨床可能將有助於加速矯正牙齒冗長的治療過程,以降低昂貴的治療成本,和減少病患在治療中,因口腔衛生不易維護導致蛀牙或牙周病的罹患率。
  2. 矯正迷你植體穩定性:
    從動物實驗探討矯正植體植入齒槽骨可能與傷及牙根之穩定度以及後續問題,以及固守穩定性之最佳施力時間與方式研究。
